Howdy, I'm Em!

 

I am a twenty-five year old who always had a dream of writing. One day, in true quarter life crisis fashion, during the depths of another sleepless night, I decided to pay $34 for a cheesy domain (Daretocare.com was taken) and reignite my love for story telling.

 

I grew up in the suburbs of Dallas with three siblings. Throughout my childhood and beginning of adulthood, I found solace with my face hidden deep in the spine of a book.

 

In 2022, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where I studied English/Media & the Entertainment

Industry.

I created this website because I never wanted to write a book, journal my thoughts, or become an English teacher. I created Come To Care to showcase short, easy to digest stories of real people who have extraordinary experiences - stories you won't find on a cover of a magazine.
